- Own customer orders across a range of industries, focusing on sheet metal and CNC
- Analyse customer specifications, drawings, and requirements to assess manufacturability and flag potential risks
- Recommend optimal designs and materials for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and quality
- Prepare accurate, competitive quotes based on production costs, timeline estimates, quality, and material procurement
- Partner with the sales team to align quotes with customer expectations and project constraints
- Identify and resolve issues throughout production to minimise delays
- Lead problem-solving for troubled orders, coordinating sales, suppliers, and customers
- Work with the supplier network to improve performance
- Manage communication and collaboration across internal teams and external partners
- Identify and implement process and workflow improvements
Requirements
- Hold an engineering degree (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar)
- Bring 3+ years of engineering and manufacturing experience
- Proficient in CAD software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD)
- Experience in technical project management
- Skilled in root cause analysis and complex problem-solving
- Stay organised in fast-moving, dynamic environments
- Communicate and collaborate well in international settings
