- Provide first‑class, front‑line HR advice and administration to colleagues and managers
- Support end‑to‑end management of the employee and non‑employee lifecycle
- Process contracts for new and existing colleagues and ensure documentation is returned for payroll processing
- Carry out proof of Right to Work and DBS checks
- Process and issue key HR documentation throughout the employee lifecycle
- Maintain the HR Help Desk and provide operational support for family leave, time off, and leavers in line with SLAs
- Advise colleagues, managers, and Approved Engagers on policies, processes, and legislative requirements
- Support non‑employee contracting, freelancers, and PSCs
- Drive continuous improvement through data reporting and systems testing
- Protect the integrity, confidentiality, and security of personal, contractual, and financial information
- Support People Business Partners with administrative tasks and attend key People meetings
Requirements
- Proven experience of working within a structured administrative environment
- Demonstrable experience working in line with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Previous experience dealing directly with multiple stakeholders of all different seniorities
- A professional approach that is supportive, respectful, reliable, resilient, and accountable
- Previous experience working within a dedicated HR environment is highly advantageous
- Self‑motivated and eager to take the initiative
- Ability to adopt a flexible and fluid way of working as priorities change or differ
- Commitment to promoting good practice and positivity in supporting Equality and Diversity
- Ability to demonstrate absolute confidentiality and discretion at all times
- Calm, structured, and organised approach when working under pressure or managing a busy workload
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Foundational understanding of IR35 regulations is desirable
- Critical pre‑employment checks covering proof of Right to Work and DBS checks
