Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Management team to ensure all services are legally registered within the statutory and regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide a coordinated approach to the analysis of incidents, complaints, and performance metrics.
  • Provide leadership for the facility to ensure a patient focused quality governance agenda is defined.
  • Responsible for ensuring that quality and risk management is embedded throughout the hospital.
  • Support the Quality and Facility Matrons with complaint investigations.

Requirements

  • A Healthcare management, Quality Management Qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Educated to Degree level.
  • Extensive and demonstrable knowledge of the UK governance, regulatory and legislative framework.
  • Experience in or a thorough knowledge of clinical audit activities and associated governance and improvement programmes.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing complaints investigations.
  • Extensive experience of implementing Quality, Regulatory Compliance, Governance and risk management frameworks.
  • Experience of patient safety investigations.
  • The ability to analyse and critically appraise complex information.
  • Change management and business redesign.
  • Well-developed leadership and influencing skills.
