Overview
Our client is a Manchester-based education recruitment business building their schools temp desk.
They are looking for an Account Manager to own a portfolio of schools across the Manchester region.
You will place supply teachers, cover supervisors, and teaching assistants on a daily and short-term supply basis.
You will manage and grow school client relationships at headteacher and school business manager level.
You will develop new school business across Manchester.
You will work closely with a candidate resourcing function to maintain strong talent pipelines for your schools.

- Own a portfolio of schools across the Manchester region and place supply teachers, cover supervisors, and teaching assistants on daily and short-term supply basis.
- Manage and grow school client relationships at headteacher and school business manager level.
- Develop new school business across Manchester.
- Collaborate closely with a candidate resourcing function to maintain strong talent pipelines for your schools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience on a temporary education recruitment desk placing supply teachers, teaching assistants (TAs), or cover supervisors into schools.
- Experience in managing school client relationships at leadership level and developing new school business β not purely candidate resourcing.
- Genuine ATS/CRM fluency in daily workflow.
- 7am desk discipline during term time.
- Mindset: education recruitment is challenging but can be improved with ownership, constructive feedback, and a willingness to learn daily.
- Not suitable for internal recruitment or HR backgrounds. School-facing temp desk experience is essential.
