- Deliver teaching, learning, dissertation supervision, and academic support to students
- Act as a Named PAC and manage a defined student caseload as primary academic point of contact
- Create high-quality digital teaching materials aligned with defined learning objectives
- Undertake formative and summative assessment marking and provide feedback
- Reflect on teaching and learning practice and develop skills with support and guidance
- Undertake administrative and quality assurance activities, including marking standardisation and teaching observations
- Contribute to School-level activities, including reviewing ethics applications and supporting research methods workshops
- Work under the line management and guidance of a Senior Lecturer
Requirements
- BSc degree or higher in Psychology with Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS)
- Excellent breadth and depth of core BPS curriculum, including qualitative research methods and subjects such as forensic, counselling, clinical, and cyberpsychology
- Ability to effectively communicate specialist or technical Psychology material
- Ability to contribute to programme enhancement
- Confidence using common digital platforms
- Some experience in teaching or providing academic support
- Desirable: MSc or equivalent qualification in Psychology with BPS-recognised GBC
- Desirable: AdvanceHE Recognition β Associate FHEA or willingness to achieve within 12β18 months
- Willingness to engage in appropriate applied AI practices
- Sponsorship may not be available; applicants must meet applicable UK work-right or visa requirements
