Ensure plant and machinery across the site are available and reliable
Proactively reduce plant downtime through due diligence
Carry out process setup of equipment and assist in SMED activities
Perform planned and reactive maintenance
Coordinate with production supervision to ensure smooth running and availability of plant and equipment
Support continuous improvement projects and sustain best operational practices
Coordinate health and safety audits and assist with SOP reviews
Help reduce functional accident statistics
Carry out assigned project work to schedule
Participate in quality and accident/incident investigations
Work at other Bridon sites when required
Requirements
- Understanding of machinery and mechanical systems
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively
- Proficiency in developing and executing maintenance schedules
- Skill in reading and interpreting mechanical schematics
- Experience with hand and power tools for repairs
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in machinery
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Ability to work rotational 3-shift pattern
- Compliance with company policies, quality and environmental standards, and applicable legislation
