Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the UK High Street sales strategy, driving sustainable and profitable growth
- Own channel P&L performance, from net sales to gross profit and trade investment effectiveness
- Act as the commercial lead in shaping local brand strategies with Marketing and cross-functional teams
- Build and strengthen senior relationships with key customers across buying, category, and leadership
- Lead, challenge, and optimise Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to unlock mutual growth
- Set clear direction on distribution, visibility, and availability across the Karo portfolio
- Embed best-in-class standards in sales planning, forecasting, and commercial governance
- Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, raising capability and performance across the wider sales team
- Support and step into key negotiations and escalations where senior engagement is required
- Provide clear commercial insight, forecasting, and performance tracking to senior leadership
Requirements
- Degree-educated, with significant FMCG sales experience at Senior NAM or Controller level

- Strong background in UK High Street, Pharmacy, Grocery, or Discounters
- Proven track record of owning a channel or major customer portfolio and delivering profitable growth
- Solid understanding of P&L management, trade investment, and value creation levers
- Confident senior-level negotiator and relationship builder
- Highly analytical, with strong Excel and commercial modelling skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with multiple priorities
- Experience in Health & Beauty Care or Consumer Healthcare is a plus
