  • Analyse operational workflows across Settlements, Asset Servicing, Corporate Actions and Cash Management functions.
  • Support investigation, remediation and automation of settlement exceptions and operational issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of market practices, settlement lifecycles and post-trade processing.
  • Perform impact assessments for operational, regulatory and technology-driven change.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processing.
  • Facilitate automation for Settlement Instruction management across business teams.
  • Analyse PSET requirements and settlement routing across markets and custodians.
  • Review settlement instruction quality and support settlement optimisation initiatives.
  • Work with vendors to assess functionality enhancements and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Support platform upgrades, releases, requirements documentation, gap analysis and vendor evaluations.
  • Create process maps, workflows and operational procedures.
  • Support SIT, UAT and operational readiness testing; track defects and resolution activities.
  • Assist with production implementation and post-go-live reviews.
  • Support operational risk assessments, control reviews, audit documentation and regulatory reviews.
  • Produce process maps, settlement exception analyses, SSI governance reports, AI opportunity assessments, business requirements, testing results, management information, KPI metrics, risk logs and project status reporting.

Requirements

  • Securities Operations experience covering post-trade processing.
  • Strong understanding of settlement lifecycles and operational controls.
  • Experience of PSET and SSI governance processes.
  • Knowledge of custody, settlement and market infrastructure processes.
  • Understanding of industry standards and FMSB market practices.
  • Experience with business analysis, process mapping and requirements gathering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with AI, automation or workflow technologies.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform or similar AI tools.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and operational reporting.
  • Experience working with vendor platforms.
  • Understanding of regulatory initiatives affecting Securities Operations.
