- Work on performance testing projects covering API, Front End, and UI-based performance testing
- Gather performance test requirements through project and client engagement meetings
- Review and analyse non-functional requirements (NFRs) to ensure they are clear and testable
- Develop performance test scripts
- Execute and report on performance tests to technical and business stakeholders
- Identify performance test failures against NFRs
- Perform performance testing against Azure infrastructure
- Carry out performance test analysis
- Communicate issues and risks clearly and promptly to relevant stakeholders
- Support performance testing projects for public and private sector clients
Requirements
- Experienced Non Functional Test Engineer with demonstrable experience in Performance Testing and Non Functional Testing
- Performance testing background is required; candidates without demonstrable performance testing experience will not be considered
- Experience working as a performance tester/engineer in previous roles
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage time effectively
- Experience developing, executing, and maintaining performance test scripts
- Experience with Gatling (preferred), JMeter, or LoadRunner
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience working with client teams or third parties
- Experience in other areas of NFT such as Accessibility, Compatibility, Usability, or Disaster Recovery would be beneficial
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to engage successfully with team members and clients
