Responsibilities
- Ideation: Stay ahead of what's trending across social platforms and what resonates most with cat owners, and translate that into paid social ads that feel native to the platform but are built to perform.
- Making Content: Own the creative execution of paid social content end-to-end, working closely with the strategists as part of a wider growth team. On a typical week you will:
- Take scripts and concepts from brief to filmed footage to edited, ready-to-test assets.
- Film short-form, phone-first videos, often lo-fi including being on camera when needed.
- Self-edit fast, punchy content using CapCut or similar tools, nailing hooks, pacing, captions and sound.
- Create multiple versions of the same concept to give us the strongest possible variations.
- Organise and run shoot days - at our warehouse, on location, or in the office and coordinate external talent or actors where needed.
- Produce and edit a steady pipeline of content that is genuinely compelling, carefully considered, and built to resonate with cat owners.
Requirements
- Experience making performance content for Meta and/or TikTok (either for a brand or your own channels).
- A strong grasp of how to tell a story in short-form video - first-frame hooks, structure, pacing, CTA.
- Comfortable filming yourself and being on camera.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of end-to-end outputs.
- Familiarity with tools like CapCut or similar mobile editors is a plus, but not a must.
- 1+ years of experience in content creation or digital marketing.
