- Scope solutions for operational requirements
- Design, build, and deploy Palantir Foundry data pipelines, ontology models, and operator-facing applications
- Integrate live intelligence into existing workflows, common operating pictures, and command-and-control tooling
- Build and tune custom widgets for user needs
- Own solutions end to end from whiteboard through deployment and operations
- Debug infrastructure, networking, and application issues across the stack
- Work in restricted, disconnected, or on-premise environments
- Advise customer engineers and operators technically
- Incorporate customer feedback into the product
- Travel to customer sites and operations centres in Europe approximately 25% to 75% of the time
Requirements
- Strong engineering background in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, or an equally technical field
- Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience with pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, Code Repositories, Workbooks, and application development
- Fluency in at least one of Python, Java, SQL, Type Script, Java Script, Bash, or Go
- Three or more years of professional software or forward-deployed / solutions engineering experience shipping systems into production
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar platform architectures and data models
- Experience with containers such as Docker or Podman
- Experience with orchestration using Kubernetes or Open Shift
- Solid Linux, networking, and on-premise fundamentals
- Willingness to travel and work on site in secure customer facilities
- Candidates must have the right to work in the EU, or be UK-based
- Security clearance required
- Ease working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Nice to have: experience in classified, air-gapped, or disconnected environments; defence, intelligence, national-security, or emergency-management background; geospatial platforms such as Esri or Arc GIS; command-and-control systems; front-end frameworks; NATO and national defence accreditation and compliance; a second European language
