Responsibilities

Develop and execute copy for a variety of channels, including OOH, digital, social, in-app, motion and CRM across multiple projects.

Collaborate closely with our design and wider project teams to concept and execute creative copy.

Collaborate with strategists and wider project teams to understand target audiences, helping develop Tone of Voice-led copy from key messaging through to campaign execution.

Ensure all copy outputs are aligned with our Deliveroo brand tone of voice, maintaining quality and consistency across all assets.

Present strategy-aligned creative concepts to internal stakeholders.

Work to deadlines and effectively manage your workload, collaborating with project managers and studio team peers to meet key project milestones.

Assist senior copywriters and AI specialists with test and refine prompts, reusable workflows for custom GPTs to improve copy quality, consistency, efficiency and campaign performance.

Requirements

A copywriter with a real love for words, conceptual thinking and creative problem solving. 4+ years of experience in an in-house or agency creative department.

A strong creative portfolio demonstrating an understanding of brand-building copy, storytelling and creative thinking through written communication.

Varied experience showing you can adapt copy across a range of channels and audiences.

Ability to flex and adapt across a variety of projects, both big and small.

Exceptional presentation skills, with proven experience communicating with stakeholders and confidently navigating feedback.

Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate, learn and adapt within a fast-growing business.

Driven to inject insight and creativity into even the most functional or conversion-focused copy spaces.

Experience using AI-powered creative and copywriting tools (e. g.

Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini or equivalent).
