Responsibilities
- Provide legal support primarily for gas and power trading activities
- Provide strategic legal advice to assist with the negotiation of agreements
- Negotiate and draft standard master agreements with external counterparties
- Participate in project groups giving legal advice and assessments
- Work as part of project teams to implement new processes, products, and systems
- Draft and negotiate contracts in cooperation with the business
Qualifications
- A law degree from the UK or a European country
- Experience in drafting agreements and negotiating standard master agreements for physical and financial trading of power and gas like EFET, ISDA etc.
- Commodities experience
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently
- Experience working as a legal counsel/attorney or similar
- Self-starter who can manage a varied workload
