- Own the Sesame experience end to end, including the client journey, interaction logic, look and feel, and consistency
- Build front-end interfaces, particularly dense and difficult financial interfaces, and establish patterns for others
- Help develop the production design system in code and influence what belongs in it
- Define and uphold product look, feel, and consistency through reviews and tooling
- Engage directly with investment professionals, family offices, and advisors, and act on client feedback
- Design and build dense financial interfaces with scalable tables, precise numbers, and robust drill-downs under load
- Define standards and instructions for AI-assisted design and engineering tools
- Critically review AI-generated output and tighten rules to prevent recurring issues
- Shape how the product design and engineering process works around AI
- Review others’ work, teach, and enable consistent quality
- Collaborate in working sessions with product managers and engineers
Requirements
- 5+ years in front-end engineering, ideally React and TypeScript, with libraries such as shadcn/ui
- Experience building and maintaining a design system in production, not just consuming one
- Experience with data-dense interfaces at scale, including virtualised tables, charting, and performance under real load
- Fluency with AI-assisted development and the specification skill described in the posting
- Willingness to work directly with users and own the experience, not the implementation alone
- Comfortable reviewing others’ work, teaching, and holding a quality standard
- Genuine curiosity about finance
- Ability to discuss shipped interfaces and the decisions behind them
- Interview process may include a portfolio or work conversation, a practical exercise based on a real Sesame flow, and a working session with a product manager and an engineer
