Build, deliver, and maintain high-quality infrastructure solutions
Monitor IT infrastructure and system performance to identify, address, and resolve issues, vulnerabilities, or outages
Develop and implement automated tasks and processes using scripting/coding disciplines
Implement secure configurations and measures protecting infrastructure from cyber-attacks and unauthorised access
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to define infrastructure requirements and ensure seamless integration
Stay informed of technology trends and contribute to technology communities
Advise stakeholders and senior management on functional and cross-functional impacts
Manage and mitigate risks and strengthen controls
Develop innovative solutions through sophisticated analytical thought and research
Build and maintain stakeholder partnerships to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and implementing medium to large-scale enterprise network solutions
- Deep technical expertise across routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing technologies
- Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
- Experience troubleshooting complex network environments
- Expertise in Cisco ACI, Nexus switching platforms, and Cisco Firepower/ASA firewalls
- Experience designing and implementing Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and network automation solutions (highly valued)
- Hands‑on experience with F5 BIG-IP load balancers and application delivery technologies (highly valued)
- Exposure to hybrid and cloud environments, including VMware, AWS, or other public cloud networking platforms (highly valued)
- Capability in risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job‑specific technical skills
- Willingness to work in Knutsford or Glasgow
