Responsibilities
- Conducting planned and reactive maintenance in line with engineering policies
- Monitoring and supporting range systems in real time during trials activities
- Configuring and managing network infrastructure, including switches and communications systems
- Administering and supporting Microsoft server environments and core IT services
- Managing and maintaining firewall systems (e.g. Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower)
- Installing and cabling IT infrastructure including racks, fixed equipment and networking hardware
Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience in IT, networking or communications systems
- Understanding of network configuration, system administration or infrastructure support
- Practical, hands-on mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and inquisitive approach
- Interest in technology, systems engineering or defence-related environments
- Ability to work on-site in a remote location and adapt to a unique working environment
- Degree, HND or equivalent in IT, Networking, Cyber or related discipline OR relevant practical experience OR an IT/Networking apprenticeship or industry certification (e.g. CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
