Responsibilities
- Uphold EDC's approach to quality-driven success.
- Carry out electrical design work as required, working to project deadlines.
- Assist modellers to produce detailed working drawings in 3D and scheme drawings.
- Develop the project scope with the design team/client.
- Follow EDC’s Environmental Management System (EMS), including all related policies, procedures, and training.
- Perform duties in a manner that supports the company’s environmental objectives and sustainability commitments.
- Work-from-home arrangements to be agreed with the line manager, with an expectation of three days in the office and flexibility to balance business and personal needs.
Requirements
- Degree qualification in Electrical Design Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of Electrical Building Services Consultancy Design experience.
- Proficient user of the following: Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Power Point etc.)
- Autodesk Applications (Auto CAD/Design Review)
- Amtech, Relux or Dialux
- Building Information Modelling (BIM) experience will be advantageous.
- Commercial sector knowledge/experience a strong advantage.
