  • Provide efficient and accurate administrative support to colleagues across the Passenger Transport Team
  • Prepare and maintain documents, records and correspondence
  • Monitor, prioritise and respond to enquiries received through shared mailboxes
  • Maintain accurate service information across systems, spreadsheets and databases
  • Arrange meetings, prepare papers, record notes or minutes and follow up agreed actions
  • Process routine correspondence, reports, forms and financial information in line with agreed procedures
  • Liaise with internal colleagues, transport providers, schools, social care teams and other partners
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and information flow
  • Provide flexible support and cover across the team as required
  • Support school travel, social care transport, local bus services, community transport and wider operational activity

Requirements

  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workload effectively, meet deadlines and respond appropriately to changing operational demands
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with colleagues, customers, schools, transport providers, and partner organisations
  • A professional and customer-focused approach, ensuring information is communicated clearly, accurately and in a timely manner
  • Strong attention to detail when maintaining records, preparing documentation, processing information, and supporting accurate data management
  • Competent digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to develop knowledge of specialist Passenger Transport systems
  • Supporting statement and CV required for application
  • DBS checks or police vetting required for relevant posts
