- Lead the design, development and governance of Business Intelligence solutions across Children and Young People's Services in relation to SEND Reforms
- Use Power BI, SQL and SSRS to develop intelligence solutions
- Improve access to data, insight and decision-making tools across the directorate
- Work with IT, transformation teams and partner organisations to develop reporting infrastructure and data-sharing solutions
- Transform complex data into intelligence supporting service improvement, strategic planning and better outcomes for children, young people and families
- Lead technical capability development within the CYP Intelligence Hub through coaching and training
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics and performance reporting
- Expert knowledge of Power BI, SQL and SSRS
- Proven ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights supporting strategic decision-making and service improvement
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including developing, coaching and motivating high-performing teams
- Experience designing and delivering technical training and building team capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across services, partner organisations and senior leadership groups
- Experience working with children and young people's data, information governance requirements, and complex performance and intelligence frameworks
- DBS checks or police vetting will be required for relevant posts
- Supporting statement required; supporting documents must be PDF or MS Word format
