- Ensure optimal cost, efficient, quality and sustained generation and distribution of factory utilities, including steam, refrigeration, water and effluent treatment, hygienic air handling, and compressed air
- Ensure electrical compliance and complete electrical activities in line with business objectives, product safety, quality, and plant operation requirements
- Support the transition from reactive to preventative maintenance
- Identify recurring issues through root cause analysis and create maintenance improvement plans
- Coach and develop the Technician group within the Industrial Services Team
- Support colleagues in maintaining company standards
- Provide departmental support for compliance audits
- Manage small projects and help develop future capital expenditure plans
- Conduct regular daily checks and provide reactive site support
Requirements
- Minimum apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Ideally dual skilled
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- In-depth understanding of problem-solving methodology
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence
- Ability to coach across all levels
- Ability to work on own initiative
