Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and actionable production plans across daily, weekly and monthly timescales
- Work closely with long‑term planners to align short- and long‑term operational needs
- Collaborate with operational teams to communicate plans and respond to changes
- Use production planning tools and data to identify issues, trends and improvement opportunities
- Investigate deviations from the plan and support root‑cause analysis and mitigation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning tools, processes and data quality
- Support incident response by providing insight and guidance from production plans
- Consider maintenance and planned works to minimise operational impact
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across Water Services, Tactical Operations and wider teams
Requirements
- Previous experience in an operational role with decision‑making responsibilities
- Strong understanding of water treatment and distribution processes
- Working knowledge of hydraulic principles
- Confident user of complex software and modelling tools
