- Support tenants from initial check-in through move-on from accommodation
- Oversee property condition and work with colleagues on maintenance issues
- Provide expert advice and guidance on accessing support from local authorities, social services and benefit providers
- Provide basic maintenance services, adjustments and cleaning in properties
- Conduct regular tenant visits and update company systems, including Salesforce
- Carry out periodic inspections, maintenance visits and health and safety inspections
- Report maintenance issues and check and record third-party repair work
- Deal with complaints and follow up on resolutions
- Support check-in and check-out inspections
- Report and investigate anti-social behaviour and liaise with third-party agents
- Liaise with the Utility department and obtain meter readings
- Assess service users’ suitability for properties
- Carry out customer satisfaction surveys
- Liaise with partners supporting tenants, including occupational therapists, hospitals, case workers, social workers, local police, neighbourhood watch and local authorities
- Maintain a safe working environment and report incidents or potential hazards
- Follow lone-working Service Level Guidelines
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with company policies
- Participate in development reviews and complete ad hoc tasks as authorised
Requirements
- Knowledge and practice in housing and tenancy management support
- Knowledge of the housing benefits system and welfare reform in a supported housing environment
- Experience working with vulnerable people with support, care needs and homelessness
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload, time and travel
- Excellent organisational skills
- Accurate recording skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Experience in managing maintenance issues and scheduling
- Flexible, approachable, positive and enthusiastic
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Experience working within the temporary accommodation sector is desirable
