  • Develop and lead Security Operations and Engineering teams securing global services
  • Form part of the Technology Operations leadership team and set and execute the Cloud Security Strategy
  • Manage vendor relationships with AWS, Wiz, Crowd Strike, Cata Networks, Cribl, and Splunk
  • Adopt Agentic AI in detection and response capabilities
  • Lead and support security incidents and mentor teams in incident scenarios
  • Establish AI-augmented risk and vulnerability management practices
  • Liaise with Data Protection, Risk, and Audit teams to meet requirements and security compliance and regulatory standards
  • Develop SOC capabilities to respond to AI-based threats at machine speed
  • Align technology roadmaps and establish Dev Sec Ops best practices
  • Engage with security leaders across brands to share knowledge
  • Provide training, mentoring, consulting, and knowledge transfer
  • Establish processes, procedures, policies, and KPI reporting for tooling and systems
  • Promote continuous improvement through service enhancements and agentic automation of manual tasks

Requirements

  • Experience operating in a senior technology role within a fast-paced online/e Commerce organisation
  • Extensive experience building, leading, and transforming teams
  • Extensive experience with Security Operations Centres (SOC), Network, Identity, Application, and Data security
  • Experience with Dev Sec Ops, including code pipeline security and Agile philosophies/models
  • Strong understanding of configuration management and automation systems
  • Subject matter expertise in security technologies, with demonstrable experience developing and implementing them
  • Good understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms, including AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communication with executive leadership
  • Powerful analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to clarify and assess issues independently and prioritize workload effectively
  • Competence in business change and driving change across large organisations
  • Proven track record delivering solutions with an outcome/value focus and leading at scale against strategic objectives
  • Excellent understanding of Service Management and Service Lifecycle frameworks
  • Curiosity and openness toward AI and emerging technologies, with willingness to continuously learn, adapt, share knowledge, and collaborate with AI tools
  • Ability to work across Flutter UK & Ireland office locations
