  • Support teachers, schools and centres in delivering Psychology and Law qualifications
  • Answer centre and subject-related queries
  • Produce subject updates and deliver Curriculum Connect sessions
  • Analyse data to identify centres needing support and inform decisions
  • Represent AQA at conferences, stakeholder events and external audiences
  • Engage with teachers, stakeholders, subject associations and learned societies to understand subject developments
  • Build relationships and bring stakeholder and customer insight into assessment, curriculum and product development
  • Support planning, monitoring and delivery of subject-focused priorities and annual plans
  • Use systems, reports and dashboards to record delivery and meet targets
  • Lead and support projects or workstreams
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Customer Training and Events
  • Identify and manage risks and dependencies
  • Promote customer centricity and advocate for customers across the business
  • Support continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and first-contact resolution
  • Engage and manage associates supporting customer delivery
  • Contribute to business-wide processes including incident management and awarding
  • Undertake extensive national travel to represent AQA and collaborate with stakeholders

Requirements

  • Clear and confident understanding of A Level Psychology and/or GCSE Psychology, their specifications and current pedagogy
  • Understanding of A level Law (desirable rather than essential)
  • Understanding of GCSE and/or A-level assessment and awareness of the wider education landscape
  • Current or former teaching experience and ability to demonstrate credibility with teachers
  • Experience extending influence beyond the classroom, for example through subject networks, CPD delivery, EdTech projects or other outward-facing responsibilities
  • Ability to use data effectively to inform delivery and understand customer impact
  • Clear and empathetic communication skills, including presenting to teachers and stakeholders and responding to questions or challenges
  • Ability to explain AQA's offer clearly and accessibly
  • Flexibility to travel extensively, including regular overnight stays
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Leadership, stakeholder engagement and collaborative working skills
  • Organisation, planning and prioritisation skills
  • Continuous improvement and big-picture mindset
  • Ability to have robust conversations with customers and stakeholders, own and deliver corporate messages
  • Understanding of AQA's assessment products, processes and practices relevant to the subject(s)
  • Enhanced DBS required for the successful candidate
