- Provide reception services for visitors and Fife Council colleagues
- Provide general information and assist with enquiries in person, by phone, and by email
- Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints and comments
- Resolve complaints when possible and escal... non-routine problems or issues to the Facilities and Civic Officer
- Carry out building compliance checks, including water testing and fire safety
- Conduct building and equipment inspections and request relevant repairs
- Undertake basic grounds maintenance, including litter picking and snow clearing of access areas
- Open and close the building/depot, including initial walk-round checks
- Work across multiple Fife Council Corporate building locations
Requirements
- Educated to SCQF level 5, including National 5 or SVQ level 2 or Standard Grades at Credit level, including English, or equivalent
- Experience of resolving telephone enquiries
- Communication skills
- Team working skills
- Ability to ensure safe and efficient procedures across a range of buildings
- Required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post
- Must provide a Supporting Statement with the application
- Ability to work 36 hours per week between 7:00am and 8:00pm, Monday to Friday
