- Technically assess building warrant applications
- Handle compliance inspections
- Work as part of the Building Standards & Public Safety verification team
- Manage verification work for around 3,000 building warrant applications annually, ranging from small-scale projects to large and complex non-domestic buildings
- Collaborate with Environmental Health and Trading Standards to deliver statutory and advisory services focused on public health and consumer safety
Requirements
- Degree level (SCQF level 9) qualification in a relevant construction related subject
- Experience within a Building Standards & Public Safety setting
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and technical standards
- Experience delivering verification services
- Must provide a Supporting Statement; applications without one will not be progressed
- Ability to travel to and attend office locations in Fife as required
