- Develop fit-for-purpose financial models for financial business cases for multi-year strategic projects and smaller-scale investments
- Act as Finance gatekeeper for new business investment initiatives
- Support financial/commercial discussions with external suppliers
- Work with Procurement and Contract Management to ensure value for money in external relationships
- Build expert knowledge of the ACCA customer journey and core products
- Lead customer-focused modelling activities to generate actionable insights
- Act as Secretary for the Discount Governance Group
- Monitor discount consumption on core income lines
- Approve new discounting initiatives and review existing initiative performance
- Support the wider Finance team to ensure efficient department operations
- Report day-to-day to the Head of Financial Planning & Performance
Requirements
- Commercial experience gained within a multi-channel or a high-volume customer business
- Ability to develop financial models from scratch tailored to the particular task and adaptable in complexity
- Strong ability to influence others, including those at levels above
- Experience working within a matrix organisation structure to achieve common goals
- Direct experience of supporting delivery of large scale change (£10m+)
- Experience working collaboratively with and ability to challenge senior stakeholders
