- Lead product priorities for business-critical products and services supporting benefit delivery across Scotland
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across the full product lifecycle
- Coach and lead teams in Agile and Lean practices
- Adapt ways of working throughout the product lifecycle using internal insight and external best practice
- Drive continuous improvement and foster organisational Agile maturity
- Act as an escalation point for major operational issues
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and cross-sector practices
- Set long-term vision and strategic objectives for the product portfolio
- Build business cases and articulate product value to gain stakeholder buy-in
- Ensure products are adopted and deliver measurable benefits
- Identify, manage and mitigate lifecycle risks and develop sustainable support models

Requirements
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams to research and develop user-centred products and service blueprints aligned with organisational strategy
- Experience adapting innovative and established approaches to achieve product or service outcomes
- Experience defining, measuring and tracking product benefits
- Ability to articulate and promote the product value proposition to a range of stakeholders
- Understanding of Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) principles where relevant
- Leadership - Level 4
- Communicating and Influencing - Level 4
- Skills aligned to Lead Product Manager within the Government Digital and Data Profession
- CV and supporting statement of no more than 750 words
- Successful candidates must complete the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
- May require additional Security Check national security vetting
- Right to work in the UK or eligibility for a Skilled Worker visa
