- Design, maintain and continuously improve data platforms and applications underpinning critical student finance services across the UK
- Develop and support systems providing analytics and business intelligence capabilities
- Ensure colleagues have access to trusted data for decisions affecting students’ journeys
- Contribute to outcome-based projects involving analytics, reporting and the content management system
- Handle high volumes of data across four data warehouses
- Help change and improve how work is done within Student Loans Company
- Collaborate across teams to deliver secure, accurate and efficient student finance services
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and with other teams
- Ability to quickly learn modern tools and embrace modern techniques
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Experience using Oracle SQL
- Previous Data Warehouse knowledge
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment
- Right to work in the UK
- Successful completion of employment history, criminal record, credit reference and fraud checks
