- Join Boeing Defence UK's Finance Intern programme within the engineering function in Bristol
- Support control account managers across Boeing
- Liaise with Project Managers and wider teams to capture forecast inputs for the monthly FP&A forecast process
- Provide reporting explaining variances against prior forecasts and plans for assigned contracts
- Collate Estimate at Complete inputs to determine expected contract profitability
- Support overhead labour and operating expense monthly forecasts
- Track actuals against forecasts and budgets and support variance analysis
- Produce monthly reports on overhead and G&A recovery, labour-base budget variations, and forecast year-end overhead and G&A rates
- Support quarterly updates to BDUK overhead and G&A rates
- Support month-end close, including raising overhead and G&A journals
- Support ad-hoc projects improving BDUK-wide finance processes
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK; Boeing will not sponsor employment visas
- Current legal authorization to work immediately in the United Kingdom
- 5 years uninterrupted residency in the UK prior to applying for the Intrusive Security Clearance Process
- Ability to obtain BPSS clearance
- Working towards a Finance-related degree with an estimated grade of 2:1 or above preferred
- Ambition to study towards a professional qualification such as CIMA/ACCA subsequent to university
- Proactive approach to work and ambition to learn and develop during the 12-month internship
- Experience using basic Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel
- Confidence presenting data, information, and ideas to senior members of Finance and other functional teams
- Attention to detail and emphasis on first-time quality
- Must live in the immediate Bristol area or relocate at own expense
