Responsibilities
- Providing a high level of support in the areas of litigation and transactional matters supported by the Practice Support Services (PSS) team within the Technology department.
- Consulting and assisting attorneys, paralegals and staff with hardcopy and electronic discovery projects.
- Coordinating collections, productions, depositions, and trial presentations.
- Serving as a liaison and primary point of contact between the Practice Support Center team and the Practice Technology Consulting team.
- Working directly with the Forensic Analyst and/or vendors to ensure that client or firm data is collected in a manner conducive to processing.
- Understanding and following current protocols and best practices in the areas of electronically stored information (ESI) processing.
- Providing training and support to attorneys, paralegals, staff, clients, and external users on document review databases.
- Creating quality control processes to deliver high quality work product.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of e-discovery and the e-discovery reference model (EDRM).
- Strong knowledge and proficiency with Relativity.
- Strong project management and consulting skills, with an emphasis on directly supporting teams of attorneys and support staff.
- Technical experience, preferably in a legal environment or at a vendor specializing in providing legal technology processing services.
- An associate’s degree or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree, preferably; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
