- Service, maintain, diagnose, and repair Volvo construction equipment and associated machinery within the designated region
- Identify and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related faults using technical expertise and diagnostic equipment
- Act as the primary customer contact, providing updates on machine status, repair progress, and recommended actions
- Complete job documentation, inspection reports, timesheets, and electronic records accurately and in real time
- Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, housekeeping, and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities to improve machine performance and maximise uptime
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance, Agricultural Engineering, HGV Maintenance, or a related engineering discipline
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing heavy construction plant
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, drivetrains, electrics, and diagnostic systems
- Advanced fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to travel, work overtime, and support customer requirements when needed
