• Perform day-to-day servicing, MOT preparation and repairs of HGVs
• Keep HGVs safely on the road for street-side operatives serving customers
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections, maintenance, fault finding and repairs
• Repair and maintain Veolia fleet, third-party vehicles and plant according to manufacturer and industry standards
• Complete paperwork and timesheets accurately
• Attend roadside breakdowns when required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician
- Ideally an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification or equivalent
- HGV driving licence
- Skilled or semi-skilled Technician experience welcomed
- Ability to complete paperwork and timesheets accurately
- Ability to attend roadside breakdowns when required
