Data Strategy Practice Manager, Vice President

• Manage end-to-end environment and data strategy programs onboarding new clients onto State Street’s front-to-back platform
• Lead regional and functional teams supporting workflow analysis, data analysis, requirements analysis, and current/future-state architecture models
• Lead creation and delivery of internal and client-facing strategy documents, playbooks, architecture documentation, and data insights
• Navigate complex client relationships, build business relationships, and manage expectations with client stakeholders
• Lead implementation lifecycle stages across multiple simultaneous global clients
• Support business development and sales efforts through consultative client engagement
• Provide regular status updates and support program management reports

Requirements

• Qualified individual with strong experience in end-to-end environment strategy, architecture and workflow design
• Experience in data analysis and business system flows
• Experience creating and executing environment designs for front-to-back client servicing platforms
• Experience managing multi-year programs consisting of complex business models and flows across front, middle, and back office operating models
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Technical architecture knowledge
• Understanding of global portfolio management, trading, and compliance functions across asset classes
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Team management experience
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Expertise in documentation, reporting and presentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally structured, team-based environment and independently
• Proven experience in program management, stakeholder management, client engagement and expectation management across the project lifecycle
• Experience in Agile Methodology and tools such as JIRA, Rally, or RTC preferred
• Front/middle office platforms experience useful
• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 15+ years of financial industry experience across front office functionality, middle (IBOR) and back-office systems, services and data domains
• Technology background and CFA/FRM charters highly appreciated
• Strong environment strategy and architecture design experience
• Strong experience in data mining and ETL platforms
• Experience with data visualization, reporting, and presentation tools
• Exposure to messaging protocols, public/private cloud platforms, and EDMs
• Experience integrating with industry providers/consulting partners to promote platform interoperability
