- Own all customs entries, ATA Carnets, temporary import bonds, and biosecurity protocols
- Co-lead advanced border agency engagements to safeguard the global event timeline
- Collaborate with engineering design and procurement to map customs profiles
- Oversee strategy and financial underwriting for ATA Carnets and specialized maritime declarations
- Ensure compliance with local environmental protection agencies
Requirements
- Authority on border integrity, international trade regulations, and global transit compliance
- Experience in operating as Importer of Record via proprietary charter vessel
- Ability to lead advance conversations with customs authorities, border forces, and port officials
- Knowledge of operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Experience in compliance paperwork, visas, and port-authority clearances
- Understanding of high-tech asset classification and hazardous materials compliance
- Proven ability to manage complex documentation for specialized technical cargo
- Experience in agricultural and biosecurity entry requirements for high-risk regions
- Skills in managing international bond architecture and customs brokers
