Responsibilities
- Undertaking assessment and practical support/advice to families to address wellbeing needs, concerns and emerging risk.
- Working collaboratively with a range of partner agencies to promote wellbeing and achieve positive outcomes.
- Contributing to the delivery of a range of group work opportunities.
- Recording service user information and measuring impact of support.
- Some lone working, working flexibly.
Requirements
- Educated to SCQF Level 7 which includes HNC or Advanced Highers or equivalent in one of the relevant fields of childcare, social care, health or community development.
- Experience of working with vulnerable children, young people and families.
- Ability to build effective relationships.
- Knowledge of assessment frameworks.
- Experience of delivering interventions which demonstrate impact and improve outcomes.
- Good communication and organisational skills including IT and report writing skills.
- Partnership working skills.
- Ability to travel within Fife.
- Ability to work as part of a Team and on own as required.
- PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
