Responsibilities

  • You will use your experience as a Railway Civil Design Engineer to support and lead designs as Checker or CRE.
  • You will be responsible for Price and Programme for your design scope.
  • Working closely with Construction and Assurance, you will form strong relationships and use these to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
  • You will support the development of junior members of the team.
  • You will be responsible for producing high quality deliverables including calculations, forms and drawings.
  • You will use your multi-disciplinary experience to provide coordinated and constructable designs.
  • Support tendering of new projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary design and experience of construction.
  • Experience of ancillary civil engineering supporting track renewals.
  • Multi-disciplinary design experience.
  • IEng / CEng (or working towards) with a relevant professional body.
  • Working towards CRE (desirable).
  • Project Engineer experience (desirable).
