Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across our social channels, with an eye on performance and brand consistency.
- Draft blogs, newsletters, Linked In posts, and email campaigns that make complex science feel human and compelling.
- Support our PR activity β media monitoring, coverage reports, press release drafts, and briefing materials for senior leaders.
- Help plan and coordinate conferences, trade shows, and webinars, including on-the-day presence.
- Assist with campaign execution and tracking across both the comms and commercial marketing functions.
- Keep our content calendar, mailing lists, and sales materials library organised and up to date.
- Conduct research: competitor monitoring, sector trends, audience insights β turning findings into useful summaries for the team.
Qualifications
- A strong writer β clear, engaging, and able to adapt your tone across formats and audiences.
- Digitally curious β familiar with Linked In and interested in what makes content perform.
- Organised and proactive β able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and know when to escalate.
- Genuinely interested in life sciences, genomics, or health technology.
- A collaborative team player β comfortable taking direction from two different leads without losing initiative.
- Prior experience in a marketing, comms, or content role (preferred).
- Familiarity with tools like Webflow, Mailchimp, Sprout Social, Canva, or Figma (preferred).
