Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and publish content across our social channels, with an eye on performance and brand consistency.
  • Draft blogs, newsletters, Linked In posts, and email campaigns that make complex science feel human and compelling.
  • Support our PR activity β€” media monitoring, coverage reports, press release drafts, and briefing materials for senior leaders.
  • Help plan and coordinate conferences, trade shows, and webinars, including on-the-day presence.
  • Assist with campaign execution and tracking across both the comms and commercial marketing functions.
  • Keep our content calendar, mailing lists, and sales materials library organised and up to date.
  • Conduct research: competitor monitoring, sector trends, audience insights β€” turning findings into useful summaries for the team.

Qualifications

  • A strong writer β€” clear, engaging, and able to adapt your tone across formats and audiences.
  • Digitally curious β€” familiar with Linked In and interested in what makes content perform.
  • Organised and proactive β€” able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and know when to escalate.
  • Genuinely interested in life sciences, genomics, or health technology.
  • A collaborative team player β€” comfortable taking direction from two different leads without losing initiative.
  • Prior experience in a marketing, comms, or content role (preferred).
  • Familiarity with tools like Webflow, Mailchimp, Sprout Social, Canva, or Figma (preferred).
