  • Develop, broaden and strengthen key client relationships to improve retention and increase assets under management
  • Support development of new business and improve channel profitability through retention, revenue and income from existing clients
  • Create strong, enduring relationships with clients at all levels to protect and retain valuable schemes
  • Identify and deliver new opportunities by ensuring trustees and employers understand Aegon services
  • Oversee delivery from implementation through the life of the scheme
  • Forge deeper relationships with existing clients and achieve retention goals
  • Drive opportunities to achieve value
  • Deliver a strong direct-to-employer strategy and suite of services
  • Oversee all aspects of team delivery while adhering to regulatory and T&C requirements
  • Develop internal relationships with senior colleagues to encourage open and constructive dialogue
  • Help secure profitable new corporate clients and trustees with the Workplace Sales Director
  • Contribute to internal project work and key proposition developments
  • Report to the Director, DC Clients

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Defined Contribution (DC) investment solutions and the wider pensions marketplace, including competitor and provider propositions
  • Proven track record of building, managing and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, including confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and board-level decision makers
  • Experience managing complex projects, programmes or client initiatives
  • Ability to make sound commercial and business decisions using market insight, client needs and data
  • Strategic mindset with experience developing and implementing client plans
  • Creative and innovative problem-solving approach
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of pensions legislation, industry developments and wider financial services trends
  • Thorough understanding of corporate pension propositions and ability to translate technical information into practical, client-focused solutions
  • Professional qualification such as FPMI, FPC or equivalent pensions qualification advantageous, but not essential
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Satisfactory credit and criminal record checks and references
