Senior Data Product Owner – Loans Lab in Chester

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of high-impact data products across our Loans & Affordability Platform.
• Shape how data is used to support lending decisions, regulatory outcomes, and enable meaningful customer interactions.
• Play a key leadership role in delivering major transformation initiatives including modernising the Loans platform.
• Transition away from legacy data infrastructure and build a scalable, product‑led approach to data.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and business teams to ensure data products are reliable and valuable.
• Define and evolve the product vision and roadmap balancing strategic goals with day‑to‑day delivery.
• Champion strong data governance and improve data quality and consistency.

Requirements

• 5 years experience as a Data Product Owner or Product Manager in a similar industry (e.g., banking, finance).
• Strong knowledge of data‑driven product development and agile methodologies.
• Expertise in GCP BigData technologies (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Dataproc).
• Experience in developing and managing product roadmaps.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
