- Complete a 12-month Human Resources placement covering recruitment, employee relations and engagement
- Support HR teams with performance reviews, absence management, disciplinary and grievance meetings
- Help implement HR policies and procedures
- Work on simplification and continuous improvement projects
- Support the talent agenda, employee engagement, employee relations, performance reviews, absence management and disciplinary/grievance coordination at Caledonian
- Own operational and administrative HR tasks
- Support Learning and Development, Recruitment, Employee Lifecycle, Employee Relations and Total Rewards initiatives at Cheltenham
- Conduct inductions for new hires and support exit interviews
- Run absence reports and follow up on return-to-work and absence discussions
- Produce monthly attrition data reports
- Take notes at disciplinary and grievance meetings
- Update and maintain time and attendance systems and the HR intranet
- Act as a point of contact for general HR queries
- Handle employee questions and support job postings and onboarding at Dowty
- Maintain accurate employee data through regular quality checks
- Coordinate site-wide initiatives with People Leaders
- Initiate employee lifecycle events and assist with off-boarding
- Contribute to site practices and procedures and help deliver training
- Deliver projects with guidance, coaching and mentoring from the People Leader and HR team
Requirements
- Currently studying a Human Resources, Business or Psychology-related Bachelor's or an integrated Master's degree
- On course to achieve a 2:1 degree or above
- In your penultimate year of study and returning to education post placement
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained
- Must have permanent right to work in the UK to be eligible, as sponsorship is not available for Early Careers opportunities
- Submit an initial CV application, followed by a video interview, testing and MS Teams online interview
