Responsibilities
- You will work on projects that involve the design and execution of a wide variety of real-world studies.
- Perform statistical analyses and communicate results to external stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
- Ensure that RWE projects are completed to an exceptionally high standard.
- Participate in teleconferences and face-to-face meetings with external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the design, execution and subsequent reporting of prospective, retrospective and cross-sectional real-world studies.
- Develop protocols and statistical analysis, acquire and analyse data, and communicate findings in both written and oral formats.
- Work in project teams alongside colleagues from all service areas.
Requirements
- A degree level or higher qualification in a relevant subject is required (minimum 2.1 or above).
- A good understanding of epidemiological techniques and data analysis methods.
- A good understanding of statistical techniques, sufficient to engage in technical discussions with our Statisticians.
- The technical ability, coupled with the written and oral communication skills, to explain complex techniques and results to non-experts.
- A good understanding of the R programming language used for the analysis of large datasets, and the willingness and ability to rapidly develop your programming skills.
- A willingness to trial, explore or recommend new software or techniques that may suit specific projects.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, along with the ability to maintain a high level of customer service and the quality of deliverables under multiple competing demands.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the flexibility to respond to changing deadlines.
- The ability to use your initiative and work independently, in addition to working collaboratively within project teams.
- Excellent written English; this will be assessed during the selection process.
