- Operate high-speed slitting machinery for flexible packaging conversion
- Carry out basic machine maintenance, including lubrication and clean-downs
- Challenge low run hours, speeds, waste levels and machine setups
- Perform quality inspections and administration according to customer specifications and standards
- Liaise with the Shift Manager to report and expedite engineering breakdown repairs
- Ensure machines have sufficient material to maximise uptime
- Keep paperwork up to date
- Ensure labelling and wrapping are correct and current
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping
- Enforce and adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements

- Machine operating desirable; full training will be provided
- Willingness to work a mix of 12-hour day and night shifts, averaging 14 shifts per month
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards
