  • Administer all aspects of payroll for employees
  • Manage employee salary data and ensure payments are made accurately and on time for approximately 6,000 employees across the UK and Republic of Ireland
  • Work with a team of payroll assistants to organize documents and handle payroll-related items
  • Provide information and answer employee and manager questions about payroll-related matters
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports
  • Review and abide by company policies and procedures
  • Check all payroll transactions fully for accuracy
  • Identify and resolve payroll errors
  • Accomplish required tasks promptly

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Payroll Assistant or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain level-headed with difficult queries or tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
