- Lead execution of experiments and trials required for process design and deployment across innovation, growth and productivity projects
- Implement process trials in pilot plants, factories and with suppliers
- Provide operational expertise in specific process unit operations
- Help plan effective use of resources, including external agencies
- Create technical reports by analyzing and interpreting results, drawing conclusions and making recommendations
- Create and maintain accurate process specifications
- Create intellectual property that drives competitive advantage
- Support trial activities, weighing, material additions and other manual activities
- Operate low-complexity equipment and perform hand moulding activities
- Dispose of non-conforming materials and ensure accurate labelling
- Support environmental monitoring and compliance programs
- Complete assigned actions supporting improvement programs, 5S and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Process development experience, ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods environment
- Ability to work with teams and independently with guidance from more senior team members
- Proactively identify problems and assist in creating and implementing solutions
- Technical understanding of equipment and ingredients in support of process development
- Labs/plant equipment operation and maintenance experience is a distinct advantage
- Consumer-centric mindset
