- Build a scalable email design system underpinning all email communications
- Transpose existing components, patterns, and principles into email
- Identify and create new components and patterns to support communications ambitions
- Create responsive email templates for CRM and lifecycle communications
- Create responsive promotional and campaign emails
- Create responsive service communications
- Create responsive transactional emails
- Ensure designs align with Hastings Direct's brand, design principles, standards, and visual language
- Create clear guidance and documentation for consistent use of email components, patterns, and templates
- Create and document the design system in line with the internal Customer Experience Hub's approach and practices
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and evolving digital design systems
- Proven experience designing responsive email templates and email communication frameworks
- Experience creating reusable components, patterns, and design libraries
- Strong understanding of email design best practices and email client constraints
- Excellent visual design skills with strong typography, layout, and information hierarchy
- Experience using Figma and modern design system workflows
- Deep understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG AA requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Knowledge of HTML email development considerations
- Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms
- Unable to offer visa support or sponsorship
