Responsibilities
- Report to the Team Leader and be responsible for the preparation, maintenance and operation of the diverse range of Uncrewed Systems assets for Test & Evaluation trials.
- Involved with scheduled and routine maintenance of the Uncrewed Systems within the scope of the approved data and manuals.
- Operate the Uncrewed Systems on which the individual is trained and competent.
- Build, functional test, repair and disassemble Uncrewed Systems and associated payloads in accordance with approved data.
- Operate and maintain Uncrewed Systems during trials.
- Problem solving and fault diagnosis on Uncrewed Systems and associated equipment.
- Ensure that every effort is made to achieve the Customer target requirements.
- Apply all standards required by the relevant Air Publications, OEM Manuals, Qineti Q Operating Framework and CAA Regulatory Publications.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience of working in a regulated and safety focussed environment on Uncrewed Systems
- UAS flying experience
- Experience and knowledge of a variety of Uncrewed Systems technologies and types
- Demonstrable high level of IT competence including the ability to learn new systems as required
- Using Online Manuals and maintenance recording solutions
- Possession of CAA Remote Piloting qualifications (Highly Desirable)
- Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical) or completed a relevant engineering apprenticeship
- Professionally registered as an Eng Tech (or capable of progressing to Eng Tech)
- Full UK Driving Licence
