- Provide professional, efficient and responsive administrative and business support to managers, social workers, families, members of the public and colleagues
- Support Children’s Social Care services for children, young people and families across Lancashire
- Deliver high-quality administrative and business support
- Participate in the reception function
- Attend the office multiple times a week as part of a rota arrangement
- Work 5 days per week, 37 hours per week
- Initially join Lancashire County Council, with planned transfer to one of four new unitary councils from April 2028 subject to reorganisation and legislation
Requirements
- Experience in an administrative or business support environment, or relevant transferable skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and databases
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of people
- Ability to listen carefully, understand individual needs and respond professionally and respectfully
- Commitment to inclusion, confidentiality, dignity and respect
- Suitable workspace at home and reliable broadband connection
- Required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a disclosure if successful
- Not open to international sponsorship
