We are currently recruiting for a Mig Welder for our client based in Whaley Bridge. This is a full time position paying £14.60, which will rise in relation to training and time served. Hours rotate - week 1 06.00 - 14.00 - Monday to Friday, week 2 14.00 - 00.00 - only working Monday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out MIG welding tasks to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times
  • Perform fabrication welding work in line with business requirements
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications where required
  • Ensure all welds meet quality standards, tolerances, and inspection criteria
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with H&S procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a MIG Welder
  • Strong background in heavy fabrication welding
  • Ability to work rotating shifts / shift patterns (if applicable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team
