Electrical Engineer (Fabrication & Automation)
We're recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business investing heavily in automation and advanced engineering.
Working within a busy fabrication facility, you'll maintain, fault-find and improve a wide range of production equipment including CNC machinery, PLC-controlled systems and industrial robotics, helping to maximise uptime and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair fabrication and production machinery.
- Diagnose electrical, PLC and automation faults.
- Program and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
- Support robotic systems and automated production lines.
- Install and commission new machinery.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with electrical and machine safety standards.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as an Electrical Engineer within manufacturing or fabrication.
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
- Siemens PLC experience.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, drives, motors and control systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings.
- HNC/HND/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
- 18th Edition qualification.
